Fred Hollows FH 17

Designed in collaboration with Martu artist Corban ‘Bamba’ Clause Williams from Parnngurr community, on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert in Western Australia, these limited-edition frames were inspired by “Kaalpa”, Corban’s Grandfather’s Country. Corban’s artwork beautifully captures the diverse landscape of the yapu (rock), warla (lake), claypans, karru (creek) and the tuwa (sandhills). The frame front features translucent acetate to complement Corbans artwork on the temples. These rectangular frames offer a modern and minimalistic look that will suit most face shapes. Corban has given permission for his artwork to be transferred onto the frames, with $25 from each pair sold donated to The Fred Hollows Foundation.
